2023 Australian Int'l Beer Awards

The best beers in the world have been tasted and judged at the prestigious 2023 Australian International Beer Awards, with Hong Kong Beer Co picking up seven medals for its Hong Kong-made craft beers:

Hong Kong Beer Co has now received 44 awards in the last eight months from nine prestigious beer competitions in six countries (Australia, Belgium, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong). We are humbled by the industry recognition and independent expert feedback we have received from these competitions. Our awards are a testament to the pride, passion and persistence of our experienced brew team and the precision we consistently achieve from our new state-of-the-art brewery, which was commissioned last year.

About Australian International Beer Awards 2023

Celebrating 30 years in 2023, the Australian International Beer Awards, conducted by Melbourne Royal, is the world’s largest annual beer competition judging both packaged and draught beer. This year, 92 industry experts judged 2826 entries from 21 countries in 21 beer categories across four days in May at the Melbourne Showgrounds in Victoria, Australia. Beers were assessed ‘blind’ according to style and were critically and quantitatively evaluated for their commercial excellence, quality attributes and trueness to type with reference to the U.S. Brewers Association 2022 Edition Beer Style Guidelines.
