Held in Seoul in April, this year's Korea International Beer Award attracted entries from 69 breweries in 14 countries. Beers were judged by over 40 renowned international and domestic experts in a blind tasting according to their balance, drinkability, overall impression, and beer style requirements of the Beer Style Guidelines. Only beers assessed as world-class (gold), excellent (silver), or fine example (bronze) received medals, with only one gold, silver, or bronze up for grabs per beer style.
