TASTING NOTES
An abundance of premium Galaxy, Simcoe, Citra, and Centennial T-90 hops create a whirlwind of citrus, passionfruit, and piney flavours and aromas. Devil’s Peak delivers all the hop-forward deliciousness of a DDH West Coast IPA in an intriguing black colour from the restrained addition of darker malts. Medium-light body, smooth mouthfeel, balanced bitterness, with a light roast flavour contributing to a crisp, dry finish.

FOOD PAIRINGS
Black IPAs pair well with foods that can stand up to their robust, hoppy, and roasted malt flavours. Consider grilled beef, pork or chicken dishes with savoury sauces, and burgers. Dishes with strong umami flavours, such as those featuring soy sauce, oyster sauce, or black bean sauce, as well as spicy Sichuan dishes and Indian curries, are all good options, as the bitterness of Devil's Peak can amplify salty and umami flavours and cut through heat.
